Shanghai Bao Steel Tiantong Magnetic Materials Co.,Ltd. (BAOMAG), which
is invested and stock held by Bao Steel Group, is specialized in the
production of ferrite powder and cores .
At present, the company has two sets of powder lines with 20000Mt yearly
quantity and three sets of nitrogen kilns with total capacity of 3000Mt
per year. Its registered employees are more than 250 persons, 40% of
them are with university certifications and among them are 12 senior
engineers, 13 middle-lever engineers and 24 junior engineers. Therefore,
some of them are graduates, experts and professors from famous
universities and research institutes to participate and conduct the new
products¡¯ design and development.
The main products of BAOMAG are lower power loss soft ferrite powder,
such as BRL2K5D (PC30), BRL2K3D (PC40), 2K4D (PC44), BRL1K5DB (PC33),
BRL3KDW (PC95) and high initial permeability soft ferrite powder such as
BRL 15K (¦Ìi=15000), BRL12K (¦Ìi=12000), BRL10K (¦Ìi=10000), BRL7K5 (¦Ìi=7500),
BRL5K5 (¦Ìi=5500) and the cores made of the above materials.
BAOMAG produces the ferrite powder by the oxidation method which
strictly controlled by the process of mixing, presintering, milling,
fine milling, spray-drying and granule adjusting. It comes out with
uniform, stable performance and good quality. The customer can use it
and make into various high-quality soft ferrite cores.
The ferrite cores made by BAOMAG can meet the requirement of all kinds
of components by their advanced magnetic performance, highly precise
contour dimension and excellent appearance.
BAOMAG has built up the complete production-controlling system and
quality-assurance system. Now via the local area network and ERP
software supervising the production data and quality parameter, it¡¯s
capable of making the products with high precision, good quality and
high additional value. Depending on the products¡¯ performance and the

Enterprise by Shanghai Scientific & Technological Committee.
